Our research centers on developing robust redox-driven chemical transformations for the precise modification of key biomolecules, including amino acids, carbohydrates, nucleotides, and lipids. By integrating these novel reactions into biomolecular conjugation and the construction of artificial lipid libraries, we aim to provide powerful synthetic toolkits that accelerate the discovery and development of next-generation drug candidates.

In Sim's laboratory, we are conducting research on all fields of pharmacy using organic synthesis such as photoreduction catalytic reaction development, chemical modification of biomolecule, and pharmaceutical chemistry.
