JSIE Next Generations Workshopは、国際経済の若手研究者が主体となって、自由闊達に発表や議論を行うことを目的としたワークショップです。研究発表にとどまらず、次世代を担う国際経済学、空間経済学の研究者が互いを知り合い、関係性を深めるプラットフォームとなることを期待しています。
また、研究者を志望する学部生や修士課程の大学院生も歓迎します。本ワークショップが、次の次の世代の研究者になりうる学生の皆様にとっての勉強とキャリア選択の機会になればと思います。
The JSIE Next Generations Workshop is a workshop for young researchers in international economics to take the initiative in freely and openly making presentations and holding discussions. We hope that the workshop will serve as a platform not only for research presentations, but also for the next generation of international economics researchers to get to know each other and deepen their relationships.
We also welcome undergraduate students and graduate students in master's programs who aspire to become researchers. We hope that this workshop will be an opportunity for students to study and make career choices for the next next generation of potential researchers.
本ワークショップでは、口頭発表とメンタリングセッションを企画しています。
口頭発表
一般的な学会発表と近い形で、20-30分間の発表ののち、10-15分間の質疑応答を予定しています。
メンタリングセッション
研究についての疑問や悩みをメンターの研究者に相談する場です。
ワークショップ後は懇親会も予定しております。奮ってご参加ください。
The workshop will consist of presentations and a mentoring session.
Presentations
Presentations will be 20-30 minutes long, followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A session.
Mentoring Session
This is an opportunity to discuss your research questions and concerns with a mentor researcher.
A reception will be held after the workshop. We look forward to your participation.

Researchers who have been working for about 10 years or less after obtaining their Ph.D.

Researchers invited as mentors
遠方の学生、かつ日本国際経済学会の会員の報告者に対して、東京までの旅費の実費もしくはその一部を補助いたします。予算に限りがありますので、全ての発表者に対して補助をすることができないかもしれません。ご留意ください。
For some student presenters who are JSIE members and coming outside from Tokyo, the travel will be subsidized.
