How much does it cost to join the PTA?
Membership is $16 per registered member each school year. A $1 platform fee is also collected to support our online membership system.

Where do my membership fees go?
Your membership fee helps power our PTA's mission. A portion of your fee is used to maintain our membership with the California State PTA and the SSF district PTA. The rest, about 68%, goes directly into our school's PTA budget to fund classroom supplies, assemblies, and other enrichment activities for our students.
What does the PTA budget pay for?
Your contributions to the PTA help fund a variety of essential items and experiences for our students and families, including:
Classroom Supplies: We provide teachers with the resources they need.
Enrichment Activities: We support field trips, school assemblies, and other educational programs.
School Improvements: We invest in projects that enhance the learning environment.
What's my commitment as a PTA member?
There's not a lot of commitment! Your main role is to stay informed and help us make good decisions. While we encourage you to attend our General PTA meetings to cast your vote and participate in how our funds are spent, there is no obligation to do so. We don't take attendance, so you can participate whenever you're able.
Do I have to attend meetings as a PTA member?
No, attending meetings is not required. However, we'd love for you to join us at our General PTA meetings, which are held every other month. We always have food and fun activities for the whole family!
Am I required to volunteer for school events as a PTA member?
No, there is no volunteer requirement. However, we'd greatly appreciate any help you're able to offer at our school events!
