About Me

The JR Seligman Contracting Experience

Hi, I'm Jacob Seligman, owner of JR Seligman Contracting. Construction has always been a part of my life. I started working alongside my father, a general contractor with more than 35 years of experience, when I was 16 years old. Those early years taught me the importance of hard work, craftsmanship, and treating every customer with honesty and respect. Today, I still enjoy working alongside him whenever I can.

While serving in the U.S. Army as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist, I continued developing my skills and gained an appreciation for precision, discipline, and doing the job right the first time. After my military service, I spent five years with the Pittsburgh Carpenters Union, expanding my experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects before moving into luxury residential remodeling.

Over the past decade, I've specialized in high-end kitchen and bathroom remodels, custom interior renovations, masonry, concrete work, and exterior improvements. Every project has reinforced my belief that quality craftsmanship starts with listening to my clients, paying attention to the details, and never cutting corners.

When you hire JR Seligman Contracting LLC, you're working directly with me. I take pride in delivering dependable service, clear communication, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time. Whether you're planning a full renovation or improving your home's exterior, my goal is to make the process straightforward, enjoyable, and built around your vision.
