Program Overview

Students will be given the opportunity to learn to play a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument for an entire academic year. The goal is to give students the fundamental skills needed to allow them to be able to explore and create in the musical world. Students will have the opportunity to perform music in various concerts throughout the academic year. 

Open to ALL 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in the Jordan School District.

Choose the Band Program That Works Best for Your Family

The Jordan Ridge Elementary Band Program offers two participation options designed to make band accessible to students across our community!

• Main Program

Students attend rehearsals before school at Jordan Ridge Elementary and participate in concerts, festivals, field trips, and other band activities throughout the year.

• Partner Program

Designed for students from participating partner schools, the Partner Program provides an additional rehearsal option at Jordan Ridge that accommodates different school schedules. Partner Program students participate in the same concerts, festivals, performances, and activities as all other band students while benefiting from the resources and opportunities of a larger ensemble.

No matter which option students choose, all band members are part of the Jordan Ridge Elementary Band family and perform together throughout the year.
