I was first licensed as Amateur Telephone-Class Radio Operator in July 1964, and Amateur First-Class Radio Operator now.
I lived in Kyoto(JA3 area) until Apr. 1968, when I moved to Kanagawa(JA1 area). Now I am located in Kamakura near Yokohama.
I have two separate stations, JA3LKE and JR1ATA.

I love contest and enjoy it actively on a national and international level. I am a member of Yokohama Ham Group (JH1YNY), active on a national contest.

I graduated in Electronics at The University of Electro-Communications(UEC Tokyo, JA1ZGP), and learned Morse Code in the university days. My main non-contesting activities are microwave transmission and digital amplifiers for audio and also RF.
