I am interested in developing tools for practically relevant problems using fundamental ideas from pure mathematics, with particular emphasis on the interplay between the following areas:
- Differential topology,
- stochastic processes,
- learning theory,
- control theory,
- optimal transport, and
- numerical optimization.
As part of my master’s thesis, I am investigating the interplay between mapping degree theory and constrained feedback maps.
