After many things including letters at Christmas, an experiment to discover women's affections, an awkward confession of feelings, a decision to court, talking under starry skies at Rebecca's grandparents' house, and a marriage proposal in a basement, we got married in the summer of 2011.
As having biological children was not an option, we began pursuing adoption about two years after marriage. (Wow! It has been a long journey just to where we are now!) However, God knew exactly what He was doing, and He used the adoption journey to help Rebecca to grow, to help Joshua to grow, and to help both of us to grow as a couple. Our marriage has not only been established, but made firm so we can give an adopted child the support he or she needs.
