Celebrating Art

Any student grade k-12 can enter this art competition. This contest occurs three times a year, so plenty of opportunities to try and earn prizes!

YoungArts Foundation

Every year thousands of performing, visual and literary artists age 15-18 apply to YoungArts through our national competition. All award winners receive a lifetime of support, including access to funding, mentorship, professional development and creative opportunities.

Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

The art contest is open to "public, private, or home-school students in the U.S., Canada, or American schools abroad enrolled in grades 7–12". Winners are selected on the basis of originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal vision or voice.

The winners will receive prizes that include publication, exhibition, and educational scholarships worth up to $10,000.

The entrance fee is $7 per entry or $25 per portfolio. Fee waivers are available for those who can demonstrate financial need.

NJCCIC Poster Contest

Every year the NJCCIC is pleased to invite public, private and home-schooled students in grades kindergarten through twelfth to participate in the state of New Jersey’s annual Cybersecurity Awareness poster contest. The contest is sponsored by the NJCCIC in partnership with the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC.) This is a national contest which urges our youth to use the internet safely and securely. Educating young people about the rules of Internet safety will encourage them to make better decisions when posting pictures, videos, and personal information online.

Protect Me With 3+

Protect Me With 3+ is an annual poster and video contest, and a collaboration between The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey and the New Jersey Department of Health. We believe your health is worth a shot. Targeting youth in middle and high schools, the contest aims to raise awareness about the importance of adolescent immunizations among preteens, teenagers and parents, and increase vaccination rates for several important vaccines

Doodle 4 Google

Doodle 4 Google, also stylized Doodle4Google, is an annual competition in various countries, held by Google, to have children create a Google doodle that will be featured on the local Google homepage as a doodle.

Congressional Art Competition

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Since the Artistic Discovery competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated. Students submit entries to their representative’s office, and panels of district artists select the winning entries. Winners are recognized both in their district and at an annual awards ceremony in Washington, DC. The winning works are displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol.
