Dr. Jaiprakash Nagar

About me 

I am a Research Engineer at EURECOM, Sophia Antipolis, working on distributed machine learning, wireless networks, and stochastic modeling. I hold a Ph.D. Subir Chowdhury School of Quality and Reliability, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal, India, where I developed analytical and machine learning frameworks for performance prediction in wireless multihop networks.

After completing a Huawei-funded postdoctoral fellowship at EURECOM, I now work on national research projects focused on future wireless systems, including Age of Information (AoI) analysis, communication-efficient learning, and network reliability estimation using ML and graph-based methods.

I am passionate about designing scalable and efficient learning algorithms for networked systems, and my broader interests span distributed optimization, wireless communication theory, stochastic geometry, and machine learning for communication systems. I also enjoy teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to open research through publications and peer review.

In addition to academics, I have a keen interest in different walks of life like watching and playing cricket and badminton, watching movies and Hollywood T.V. serials, crazy about old Hindi classical songs, and love singing. I am a fitness lover and works out daily. I also likes exploring new things, meet people from different walks of life and make friends.
