Our Purpose
Our foundation was created to preserve the life and memory of Joseph “Pepe” Miranda and his love for sports and our community. Pepe always applauded any and all efforts to help and uplift Irwindale’s youth. The investment he maintained throughout his life continues through this non-profit organization. The mission and legacy of the Joseph “Pepe” Miranda Scholarship and Sports Grant Foundation will be to promote and provide opportunities so the youth of Irwindale can reach their fullest potential.

Julian and Lola Miranda, Pepe's parents, have supported Irwindale and its residents for over 50 years. Our foundation works tirelessly to honor the community service they have both provided to the city and its residents. Their lessons of self-sacrifice and the importance of giving back to your community are the cornerstones of our foundation.
