Bukit Mok Cun, also known as Bukit Kodiang, is a scenic hiking spot in Kodiang, Kedah, Malaysia, known for its breathtaking views of lush green paddy fields. Standing at 140 meters, the hill offers a moderately challenging climb, with some steep sections that may require ropes and gloves for safety. The best time to visit is during the paddy seasons in January–February and September–October, when the landscape is especially vibrant.
Located near the Kodiang KTM station in a quiet rural area, Bukit Mok Cun is popular for hiking, photography, and catching sunrise or sunset views. The hike typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your fitness level. Due to the steep and rocky terrain, it's important to wear proper footwear and gloves, and it’s wise to hike with a guide or someone experienced.
There’s no entrance fee, but a small parking fee is charged. A public toilet is available about 100 meters from the base. For the best experience, bring a camera, go during the paddy season, and be ready for a bit of a climb—some parts are nearly vertical and require extra caution, especially on the way down.
