Make sure you are 12 or above and have your guardian's consent before signing up!

Volunteers solely go to programs to help carry out the activties. Team members (Events Team & Publicity Team) help come up with activity ideas, prepare program materials, promote our organisation on social media, AND go to volunteering sessions.

No, while volunteers are encouraged to join as many sessions as they can (to maintain sufficient manpower each session), you can select which days you are free to come.

Currently, we have two branches, one at Chai Wan, one at Tseung Kwan O. We work with community centres to ensure participant sign ups and venue availability. Volunteers are welcome to join sessions at either branch.

We hold programs throughout the entire school year. Sessions are mainly held afterschool on weekdays, starting around 5:30 p.m. Additionally, we occasionally hold extra programs during school holidays.

Joyxtra has an award system: volunteers have the chance to earn gold, silver, bronze or merit awards based on how many service hours they achieve within the school year.
