JoyCycle (“the App”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
When you create an account or use the App, we may collect the following information:
Email address (via Firebase Authentication)
User name and profile image
Physical information (height and weight, if provided by the user)
Information provided through your connected Strava account, including:
Strava Access Token / Refresh Token
Activity data (distance, duration, power, stream data, etc.)
Firebase User ID (UID)
Your personal information is used for the following purposes:
Providing JoyCycle services and identifying users
Synchronizing activity data from Strava
Performing training analysis, including FTP, TSS, ATL, CTL, and TSB calculations
Managing user accounts and authentication
Improving app quality and diagnosing technical issues
Your personal information is permanently deleted when you delete your account.
If retention is required by applicable laws or regulations, the information will be retained only for the legally required period.
JoyCycle does not share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
However, the following services are used to operate the App and process your data:
Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication)
Google Cloud Functions
Strava API
You may request the following at any time:
Access to your personal information
Correction of your personal information
Deletion of your personal information (Account Deletion)
When you delete your account using the in-app “Delete Account” feature, all associated user data and cached data are permanently removed.
You can delete your account immediately by navigating to:
My Profile → Delete Account
Once your account is deleted, all associated data stored in Firebase is permanently removed.
