If you want deep pressure therapy and total blackout for a restful night, choose Joythink Weighted Eye Masks; if you need versatile audio for workouts, running, or hands-free calls without the weight, choose voijump Sleep Headphones.
• Joythink: Offers a weighted design with heating capabilities to soothe eye fatigue, but its bulkier 8.8 oz build makes it less ideal for active movement. Best for dedicated sleepers who prioritize relaxation and deep pressure.
• voijump: Features ultra-thin speakers in a lightweight, sweat-resistant headband that stays secure during activity, though it lacks the calming weight of a mask. Best for active users, runners, and call center agents needing mobility.
• The Verdict: Pick Joythink for the bedroom sanctuary; pick voijump for the gym or the office.
The Joythink Weighted Eye Mask is engineered specifically for those who struggle to disconnect from the day. Its standout feature is the removable weighted insert, which tips the scales at about 3.5 ounces on its own and adds up to roughly 8.8 ounces for the entire unit. This isn't just a fabric cover; it provides a gentle deep pressure sensation across the eyes and face. For many, this physical weight acts as a grounding mechanism, easing eye fatigue and signaling to the body that it is time to relax. If you have ever tossed and turned because your mind won't quiet down, this sensory input can be the difference between a restless night and a solid one.
Beyond the weight, the material plays a crucial role in comfort. Crafted from silk, the mask is soft, smooth, skin-friendly, and breathable. Silk naturally regulates temperature better than synthetic blends, making it an excellent choice for side sleepers who might find cotton masks too hot or irritating against sensitive skin. The design conforms to the curves of the face, ensuring a snug fit without digging into the cheeks. You also get the added benefit of a heating function via the insert, which can further promote muscle relaxation before you drift off.
This product is the right choice if your primary goal is high-quality sleep hygiene. It integrates Bluetooth 5.3 technology seamlessly, allowing you to listen to white noise, meditation tracks, or audiobooks wirelessly. The built-in microphone means you can take calls if needed, but the true value lies in the ability to play soothing sounds while being completely blocked out from light. However, you should skip this option if you are a very hot sleeper who hates any extra weight on your face, or if you plan to wear it while moving around the house. The 16-hour battery life is impressive, but the sheer size and weight make it impractical for anything other than lying down.

The voijump Sleep Headphones take a completely different approach by prioritizing versatility and durability over deep pressure. At only 2.4 ounces, this device is incredibly light, featuring a soft headband made from highly elastic and breathable fabric. Unlike the rigid structure of a traditional mask, this headband wraps around your forehead, holding ultra-thin HD stereo speakers in place. The materials are designed to be hypoallergenic and sweat-absorbing, which is a game-changer for anyone who sweats at night or needs a device they can wear during a workout. The braided wire and durable construction suggest it can withstand daily wear and tear far better than delicate silk accessories.
Audio performance is where this product shines for active users. It utilizes a 40mm composite driver to deliver pure, balanced sound with rich bass and clear mids. Because the speakers are embedded directly into the band, there is no bulky earpiece to press against your ear canal, which is a common complaint with standard earbuds. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection ensures a stable link to your phone, whether you are listening to a podcast in bed or taking a call while jogging. The built-in microphone supports hands-free calling, making it a practical tool for professionals who need to stay connected without fumbling with a separate headset.
Who should buy this? Anyone looking for a solution that bridges the gap between sleep, exercise, and communication needs it. It is particularly well-suited for call center agents who need to hear customers clearly while remaining comfortable for long shifts, or for athletes who want to listen to music during yoga or running without their hair getting messy. The fact that it is machine washable (after removing the control pod) adds to its longevity. However, if you are someone who relies on the psychological comfort of weight to fall asleep, or if you need complete light blocking, this headband will not provide that specific type of blackout environment. It covers the ears and forehead but leaves the eyes open to ambient light unless paired with a separate eye covering.
• Best for deep pressure and anxiety relief → Joythink Weighted Eye Masks, thanks to the 3.5 oz insert.
• Best for active lifestyles (running, yoga) → voijump Sleep Headphones, due to its sweat-resistant, lightweight design.
• Best for total light blockage → Joythink Weighted Eye Masks, as the silk mask physically covers the eyes.
• Best for hands-free calls in noisy environments → voijump Sleep Headphones, offering a stable mic placement for mobile work.
• Best battery endurance → Joythink Weighted Eye Masks, offering up to 16 hours of playback compared to voijump's 14 hours.
• Best for washing and maintenance → Both are washable, but voijump's fabric headband may dry faster than the heavy silk Joythink mask.
• Best for side sleepers who hate ear pressure → Joythink Weighted Eye Masks, as the speakers sit flat against the temples rather than in the ear canal.
• Best multipoint clip-on style for mobility → voijump Sleep Headphones, functioning effectively as a wearable sports accessory.
• Best for thermal regulation → Joythink Weighted Eye Masks, utilizing silk and optional heating features.
In my opinion, the choice ultimately comes down to how you intend to use the device. If I were setting up a dedicated sleep sanctuary, I would choose the Joythink Weighted Eye Masks. The combination of silk, deep pressure, and the ability to heat the mask creates a superior environment for shutting down the brain and body. However, if I needed a device that could handle a busy day as a call center agent, transitioning from work to a run without changing gear, the voijump Sleep Headphones are the smarter investment. They offer the necessary audio clarity and microphone quality for professional use while remaining comfortable enough for sleep. For the specific use case of a call center worker who needs to move around and stay connected, the voijump is the more practical tool, but for pure sleep quality, Joythink wins.
Yes, both models include built-in microphones for hands-free calls. The voijump is often preferred for active roles due to its lighter weight and sweat resistance, while Joythink offers a more stationary setup for desk-bound agents.
Absolutely. Both products are designed so you can remove the electronic control pods or modules before washing the fabric components, ensuring the electronics stay dry and functional.
Only the Joythink Weighted Eye Masks provide full blackout coverage for the eyes. The voijump headband covers the ears and forehead but does not block light from entering your eyes.
The Joythink mask offers up to 16 hours of playback after a 2-hour charge, while the voijump headphones provide slightly less, lasting over 14 hours on a similar charging cycle.
