About the Owner
My name is Tara Miller and I am the owner and director of Joyful Home Daycare. I am a certified teacher; I taught in Campbell County for 12 years. I have experience teaching pre-school, 3rd grade, and 5th grade.
Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. My favorite part about caring for children is building relationships with them and getting to know their individual personalities. I also enjoy seeing them learn new things, find their passions, and be creative and silly.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Josh Miller. He is a teacher, currently teaching at Stocktrail Elementary here in Gillette. We have four kids, Grant (11 years), Audrey (8 years), Ervin (3 years), and Theodore (8 months). It is with the birth of our third child that I decided to resign from my teaching position and start this new daycare adventure!
Daycare works great for our family because I have the ability to stay home with our youngest and still get to work with kids and their families to make a difference in our community!

About Our Licensing Process
Joyful Home Daycare is a state licensed facility! This means every adult member of my home has been fingerprinted and background checked. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I've taken various training classes, had an approved fire inspection, baby proofed my home, and been through a lengthy home inspection with DFS.
About the Food Program
About the Food Program
Joyful Home Daycare is enrolled in the Kid Nutrition Company's food program! This means that we provide healthy meals that meet the USDA requirements at NO charge to you! We provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack everyday.
Serving times vary, but will always fall between these times:
Breakfast - 7:30am - 9:30am
Lunch - 11:00am - 12:00pm
PM Snack - 2:30pm - 3:30pm
