My Philosophy 

As a child care provider and long time educator, I believe children have the right to a positive and welcoming learning environment. I strongly feel that kids should have time to build friendships, have imaginary play time, get fresh air outdoors, participate in age appropriate activities, songs, dances, and so much more. I believe consistent routines are a key part of any well-designed program, as well as encouraging gentleness, honesty, and respect. At our facility, your child will be encouraged to socialize, share, communicate their feelings, and respond to challenges in an age appropriate manner. 

Joyful Home Daycare serves mostly educators and their families, but we also serve anyone else looking for quality childcare throughout the school year. This is because our hours and days of operation match up with the calendar of Campbell County School District. We are closed during the same holidays and breaks, yet we remain open on professional days and early release days. We have a flat monthly rate that does not have to be paid during summer months to "hold a child's spot" like other facilities require.
