I was born and raised in Kolkata, the intellectual and cultural heart of India, the city of joy. This city of cheerful chaos offers amazing food, compulsory afternoon siestas, and fierce debates regarding politics and games. After completing my schooling at South Point and undergrad at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata I moved to another beautiful city Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and spent 6 years. Kerala is usually refereed to as God's Own Country because it’s one of the richest biodiversity hot-spots in India blessed with abundant nature’s bounty, year-round foliage, diverse wilderness, crystal clear beaches, and the magnificent landscapes of the Western Ghats! This Indian state in India perched on the Western Coast of India, or the Malabar Coast, is also the birthplace of Ayurveda, the ancient practice of healing and wellness! Some people also believe that the name has a mythological belief that states that Lord Parshuram, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu threw his axe into the vast sea to develop land for his followers to reside peacefully. These 6 yrs were the best years I had so far, had the first hostel life and made some good friends. Also, during this time I stayed inside the campus of IISER TVM for more than 1.5 yrs due to COVID lock down. Then I moved to Kaohsiung, which is located in the southern part of Taiwan, worked there for 1.5 yrs and then finally moved to Edinburgh.
I am an reticent and calm person (till vibe match with a person :P). I prefer to talk less but I am a good listener. I am also a frugal person who enjoys time to time, but also a finance enthusiast. I actively study the market, macro economics, business fundamentals and invest. I engage my time doing various things other than academics.
