I really like the aesthetic and the design of the map. It is quite horror and scary because the lighting is a bit lowkey in the night scene and also there many zombies there. It made me associate about the horror movies which are school theme. Moreover, the map is rather large and many rooms to explore and i like the Medical Clinic, that room is really cool although it is a bit scarier than others in my opinion.
I'm not the person who is interested in playing horror game so i do not know what the level need to improve, but if i have to tell one, i would say that it would be better if the light in the map is brighter because when i was playing the game, there are some areas are too dark and quite hard to see the zombies.

I quite like this game. I like the way the zombies rush to attack, it makes me feel aroused and a little startled. This game is very suitable to play when bored or waiting. The design is very good, the key, resuscitation and bullets are all glowing, it's easy to find and get them. The sound also contributed to my feeling of being attracted to playing this game.
It's good if this game can add a 3rd person perspective, it's just my personal gaming hobby. The game should add a thumbnail map in a corner of the screen, which will make finding the key faster, avoiding running around. I would rate this game higher if I could play with you in a group, it would be more fun if I could discuss or have a dialogue with each other.
During the process of Level Design, the obvious thing that I discovered was there were many new things that i haven't know about design a level for a game. This is my first time that i have learnt and tried designing a 3D level and building a game. Definitely was an interesting experience.
Though there were many challenges i faced during this process, but the ultimate result came off well, as i think. Cause this is my first time tried to do a game level with a completely new software like Unreal Engine 5. So that i also proud off more or less what i had done for this subject.
What went well?
Planning & Designing
This stage went through well and can be seen an easiest stage compared to other stages in my opinion. As a person that really keen on drawing, illustrating and creating something new, i enjoyed this stage and thought about how player would play and what do they think about my design. That is so exciting. It was not a big deal with me for designing what i should do for the level because the idea came out straightaway when i started and i illustrated the 2D map by using Adobe Illustration.
Gameplay Design & Level Blocking
In these parts, unlike the first stage, these parts were kindly challenging when i was thinking and designing the game mechanics for my level. It was not an easy one when i had to design and combine reasonably between the gameplay and environment level design and think about how the flow of gameplay would be. I was struggling with the thinking that how to make a gameplay for players which is not too easy but also be not too hard and the important thing is must be attract the player. Fortunately, the final design was exactly what i want.
After that, create primitive shapes and blocking is the stage that i did it really fast and i would say that it was a bit bored. However, i did not notice about the scale of the level so that when i finish the map, its overall size was quite large compared to the character. I did not have many experiences about playing FPS games so that why when i created the level i did not notice about the size of the shapes and blocking assets. As result, i had to scale everything again to match with the character when playing.
Set Dressing
I quite enjoyed this stage because this is a creative stage as i though. In this stage, i was so excited to replace and design about how the environment as well as the architecture of the map look like although itself took a long time to finish because of many things to set such as replace all the assets, create material or lighting.
Playtesting
This is a useful stage and kindly nervous because i was really curious about how my friend would think about my level and i also appreciated feedback from them which helped me a lot to improve my level.
What went wrong?
Modelling stage
Although i said that i quite enjoyed the set dressing stage, but during the time modelling, i felt so frustrated because there are many functions and tool that are totally new with me in Unreal Engine. To complete it, i had to watch and had references from many sources on the internet and YouTube so that why it took a really long time to finish.
My laptop stopped working during the process
One of the most annoyed challenges that i faced was my laptop stopped working while i was doing the process. Unfortunately, there was my careless because i did not save any backup file of the level and this problem wasted a lot of my time and affected the productivity of the project.
Change the name of the file and all the cubes were disappeared
One of my big mistakes is that when i prepared to submit the final file of assessment 2, i changed the name of the Unreal project and when i opened to check it, i realized that all the cubes i created for the level were disappeared and i had to re-created that.
My laptop's Hard-drive is not enough space.
The other annoyed problems of my laptop was that there is not enough memory for the Unreal Engine working, I had worked with a few of 3D apps which are hold big wieght and saved many heavy files. I was really headache when i was deciding which files or apps are not too important to delete.
