Joy Prom is a full-scale community sponsored prom for guests with different abilities and special needs ages 16 and above.  However, Joy Prom is not just a dance or a one night party, It is so much more. Joy Prom is a true celebration of unity through an outpouring of love and acceptance to our guests with disabilities and special needs in our community. 

Through Joy Prom, our guests, caregivers, and volunteers also have the opportunity to connect with each other and over time build long lasting relationships.  We believe these relationships are vital in strengthening our community and building a deep sense of belonging throughout the Winston-Salem area.
