Nato nel 1966 in Italia, Joy Max ha coltivato la sua passione per la musica fin dall'infanzia, intraprendendo lo studio della tromba nel decimo anno di età. Dal 2017, si è affermato come produttore musicale indipendente, abbracciando una vasta gamma di generi musicali e sfuggendo alla luce dei riflettori per concentrarsi esclusivamente sulla sua arte.
Joy Max trae ispirazione da una varietà di artisti iconici, tra cui Avicii, Coldplay, T-Pain, Notorious B.I.G., Motley Crue e Marilyn Manson. Il suo approccio musicale è eclettico e variegato, spaziando da chillout a house, da EDM a funky, da hip-hop a pop, fino a hard rock e sperimentale.
