Establishing a sacred and safe space for Black, Native, and Indigenous children to engage in alternative learning practices that prioritize the holistic development of each child, we aim to equip them with essential emotional intelligence skills and ultimately reshape the prevailing narratives surrounding their education.
Homeschool Hangout is an enriching collective experience for homeschool youth ages 8-14, where they learn and explore topics that empower their holistic journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and education. Through engaging activities that blend science and spirituality, we will take a metaphysical journey and practice practical life skills, connect with nature, and learn how to shape our own reality. This experience incorporates art, movement, and exploration through travel. Together we will explore the science of energy and its impact on our bodies, minds, and the world around us.
We will integrate our NEO (nature, energy, observation) curriculum in our Homeschool Hangout programming happening this fall!

sacred sundays is a space of education, elevation, and meditation. We commune sharing knowledge, practice, and wisdom. Together we pray, meditate, and emerge feeling elevated, affirmed, and refreshed.
We meet on varying Sundays to learn about and engage with the governing energetics of the season and how they influence and show up in our lives and bodies.
We end each class with group meditation and breathwork.

sacred space: seven layers to wholeness, a seven-week community program curation for Black, Native, and Indigenous women. Together, we will journey through the seven energetic centers layer by layer, to cultivate a sacred space of openness and honesty where women can see themselves as they truly are, accept themselves, and build the necessary foundation for self-love.
This program's purposeful mission is inspired by writer, scholar, black woman, and feminist, bell hooks who in her book, All about Love New Visions, states that “Self-love cannot flourish in isolation.” In the same chapter titled Commitment: LET LOVE BE LOVE IN ME, she states, “… truth-telling lays the groundwork for the openness and honesty that is the heartbeat of love. When we can see ourselves as we truly are and accept ourselves, we build the necessary foundation for self-love.”
journeying barefoot will curate a journey of vulnerability in community with other black, native, and indigenous women in alignment with their mission to honor the intersection of self, spirituality, and education.
This project will serve the women/femme-identifying people in southwest Philadelphia.
The journey begins January 2024
