JB Threads began in 2024 with a simple dream. When things didn't happen as quickly as I expected, I walked away from it. I believed success would come quickly, and when it didn't, I lost motivation.

Looking back, that pause became one of the most important parts of my journey.

During the 2025–2026 school year, I was encouraged to take a gap year before beginning post-secondary school.

While many of my friends were starting university and sharing their new experiences, I found myself asking difficult questions about my own future. It was easy to compare my path to everyone else's and wonder if I was falling behind.

Over time, I realized my journey wasn't meant to look like theirs.

I had a choice. I could keep measuring my life against someone else's timeline, or I could embrace the path I had been given. I chose to grow. I chose to believe my value wasn't determined by comparison or expectations.

That season changed me.

It taught me to trust the process, embrace who I am, and move forward with confidence instead of comparison.

That's when JB Threads came back to life.

Today, this brand is about more than clothing. Every design is created to remind people that their story matters, their worth isn't defined by others, and they don't have to wait for the “perfect” moment to believe in themselves.

If one person puts on a JB Threads shirt and remembers they are enough, then we've accomplished something far greater than selling apparel.

We've become part of their journey.
