Submission Guidelines

Research papers as well as articles on 'Technology for English Language and Literature Teaching' are invited from our ELTAI Computer Technology SIG members as well as others.

  • The research paper / article based on the use of Technology in English Language/Literature Teaching should be accompanied by an abstract in about 150 words at the beginning and the full paper in not less than 2000 words.

  • Use Times New Roman typeface of 12 points and set the entire paper to 1.5 line space.

  • If the paper has any illustrations / pictures, please send them in jpeg format as email attachment.

  • A short biographical note about the author should also accompany your contribution

  • Preference will be given to the articles submitted by the members of ELTAI in publication. For membership details visit our website www.eltai.in

Following is a template for authors' reference.

Introduction

General introduction to the topic, reason for choosing the particular technological tool for teaching, brief reference to two or three studies to show how others have worked with the tool that you have used and brief introduction to your study.

Methodology

State the objectives of the research (with more emphasis on the use of the technological tool), sample chosen and the procedure you followed, with more details on the use of technological tool which you have used in teaching.

Data collected

Reference to the data collection tools -survey questions, interviews with students / teachers, worksheets provided, activities administered

Presentation of data - observations made, feedback or any other quantitative data.

Analysis and Findings

Present the results of the data in the form of bar chart or pie chart.

Use of statistical measures for analysis is not compulsory. In such cases, it is enough to analyse the observations made and feedback received.

Discussion and Conclusion

Substantiate how far your results have supported your research study, what have you learned from the study and the effectiveness of the technological tool used.
