Homework:
If possible, please read for 20 minutes each night.
Additional weekly homework will be sent home in their binder each Monday and is due each Friday.

Morning Car Riders:
Students will need to wait in the gym until 7:35 am. At 7:35 am, students will walk down to the classroom.
Tardy Policy:
Please remember the tardy bell rings at 8:00 am. If your child is sick or has an appointment, please remember to send the excuse the next day.
After-School Care Notice:
ASC must be paid in advance or on the day your child stays. Please remember that we are switching to a computerized program, and once your child is checked in at 3:30, you are automatically charged $10.00.
Electronic Devices Reminder:
Neither the school nor the staff is responsible for any theft of or damage to electronic devices. This includes phones, tablets, play devices, etc. Please remind your child to keep these at home, or they MUST be turned off if they keep them in their backpack. Thank you!
Communication:
You know your child better than anyone :) If written notes are not the best way to communicate, please communicate through email, phone call, or ParentSquare.
Also, please remember that it is a Floyd County policy that teachers and staff are not to communicate with parents through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). If you need to discuss anything with your child's teacher, please email or call the school (706-290-8527).

Power School Parent Portal:
Parents can get an access code from the front office in order to log into the Power School Parent Portal to see your child's grade and attendance.
