I am Joshua Rowan Thorpe, a philosopher, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the LanCog research group at the University of Lisbon.  

My main research area is epistemology, but I also work on philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. I am especially interested in scepticism, self-knowledge, and a priori knowledge.

I am a co-founder of the Portuguese Epistemology Network, along with my collegues Giada Fratantonio and David Horst.
