Most ingredients including the grains and the vegetables come straight from the farm itself, making the food fresher and tastier.

Rice, 1 Dal preparation, 1 Seasonal Vegetable preparation, 1 less spicy vegetable preparation, Bhakri, 1 Salad preparation, Pickle, Papad, plain butter milk, 1 Sweet dish preparation (Sheera / Dudhi Halwa / Shrikhand, etc).

Evening Tea 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm

Tea / coffee, One preparation from – Batata vada / Chutny sandwich.

Dinner 8:00 pm – 9.00 pm

Rice, 1 Dal preparation, 1 less spicy vegetable preparation, 1 usal (sprout) preparation, , Ghawan, 1 Salad preparation, Pickle, Kurdai Papad.

For the ones who love to relish some delicious non-vegetarian food, we cook and serve at extra cost and depending on the availability.

Note: Our kitchen staff works on a schedule, all meals and snacks will be provided only at the given times.

Things to carry

• Filled Water bottles (It's best to carry your own drinking water in these times). We have borewell water for drinking and other usage. You can buy packaged drinking water at actual cost.

• Warm cloth (extra bedding if required. We are close to nature and it gets pretty cold)

• Mosquito repellant

• Medicines (as required)

• Sanitisers (as required)

• Regular Pet food and toys

• Food bowls, leash and pet medicine (as required)

• Poop scooper for your pets

• Pet bedding (as required)

• Please let us know if your pets or you are allergic to any food items or plants.

Important things to note

General

• Outside food is not allowed.

• Package includes Vegetarian meals and snacks only.

• Extra charges are applicable for non-vegetarian food.

• Any additional meals / food items / services will cost extra as actual.

• Prior booking is mandatory.

• We require a 100% booking amount at the time of booking.

• In case of cancellation of your reservation:

No cancellation charges are applicable and you will receive your entire amount back if the cancellation is confirmed with us, minimum 15 days prior to your date of check-in. 30% of your total payable amount will be consumed by us as cancellation charges and the remaining amount will be refunded if the cancellation is confirmed minimum 7 days prior to your date of check-in. Your payment (100% payable amount) will be charged by us as cancellation fees if the cancellation is confirmed only 3 days prior to your date of check-in.

• We are surrounded by forest hence respect the wildlife.

• We are not responsible for any injury due to an insect bite or allergy due to plants at the venue.

• Joshibuag is located near the mountains. In case of uncertain weather, we reserve the right to change the itinerary.

• Be responsible for your own safety and security.

• Take care of your belongings all the time.

• We (Joshibaug) are not responsible for any theft, injury, damage or loss of belongings.

• Any property damage will attract fine.

• Providing Identity proof (Driving License / Aadhaar / PAN CARD) is mandatory at the time of confirmation and check-in.

• You will be requested to sign the same document at the time of check-in.

Pet specific

• My pet, my responsibility. Please ensure your pets are under your control and supervision.

• Letting your dog off-leash is only allowed in designated areas.

• If your dog is not friendly or social, please keep him on leash all the time.

• Any accident or mishap with your pet is your own responsibility.

• Keep the surrounding clean. Pick up your dog’s poop.

• We are not responsible for any dog injury due to insect bites or allergies due to plants at the venue.

• Please make sure your dog is vaccinated. You will have to provide a vaccination record at the time of booking.

• You will be requested to sign the same document at the time of check-in.

Safety precautions under COVID19

• Please wear your mask all the time.

• There are no cases in the village so far. This makes us more responsible to keep this zone COVID free.

• Please inform us if any of your family members has been recently diagnosed with COVID19. In such a situation, we have the right to cancel your booking. A full refund will be made in such cases after providing an authorised medical report.
