Welcome! I am currently a Lecturer for the Philosophy Department at University of Colorado Boulder.

My research focuses on philosophical issues in climate science, historical science, and climate modeling. This research includes work on the epistemology of climate modeling and simulation, historical climatology, and proxy measurement.

I am also interested in ethical and social-political philosophy, and have experience teaching a variety of courses on ethics and contemporary social problems. (See my teaching page)

I have been regularly involved with the University of Colorado's Center for the Study of Origins, a group that fosters interdisciplinary research into specific topics on origins and the general nature of theories of origins.
