Associate Professor at the University of Artois since 2010, I currently serve as the head of the Master’s program in Money, Banking, Finance and Insurance. I am also a member of the University’s Research Committee and affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory in Management and Economics (Rimelab).
Following a PhD in Economics from the University of Auvergne (Centre for Studies and Research on International Development – CERDI) in 2007, I undertook postdoctoral research as part of the French National Research Agency (ANR) project Les Suds Aujourd’hui (2008–2009).
In 2009, I completed a research fellowship at the Norwegian Institute of Foreign Affairs (NUPI) within the project Police Corruption, Crime and Poverty, funded by the Research Council of Norway, where I investigated the economic consequences of crime on development. I also contributed to NUPI’s research project Trade, Growth and Governance.
Building on my research on corruption, I am involved in several projects exploring:
the role of institutions and governance in banking intermediation and regulation.
my research primarily focuses on developing countries.
I apply recent econometric methods in my research.
