My official role as Team Teacher was to serve as a Teacher Interventionist and provide supplemental instruction for students that were in danger of being unsuccessful in their math classes. I mainly focused on ninth grade Algebra students that needed to take the Mathematics State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and twelfth grade students that needed help passing the TSI.

I worked as a student teacher for the Northside ISD while part of the UTeach SA program as an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at San Antonio. The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science selects fellows to, "support the advancement of scientific research." I was selected for the Summer 2020 program, but was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I conducted research for my dissertation as a research fellow under the supervision of Professor Soichi Okada at Nagoya University in Japan from June to August 2023.

June-Aug. 2022 Graduate Student Mentor for the UTRGV SLOAN Math Pathways Summer REU
The responsibilities I held as a graduate student mentor for this REU included proctoring GRE practice exams, running a crash-course on GRE Exam strategies for Calculus-based questions, give a lesson on "An Introduction to Mathematica", graded the students' presentations on their delivery and offered advise for improvement. Several panels were also held where the REU students had the opportunity to ask the Graduate Mentors any questions they had on a variety of topics ranging including applying to graduate schools, how to typeset in LaTex, and how to maintain a work-school-life balance.
