Hi! I'm Joselo Rocha. 

Since I was 3 years old I knew I wanted to be an artist (as in painting, sculpture, and all that good stuff) I knew it after I took a painting class, my room walls were filled with comics, movie posters, and art, even the ceiling was full, I also used to record videogames in VHS tapes, you know the "cinematic animations" when you finish a game? I love them so much, I wanted to create that...

And then life happened, and I paid attention to what everybody around me said: "You'll die hungry if you become an artist", at that time there was only "fine art" like in Michelangelo, not like now that there is a way broader industry for artists like video games, animation, character and background creation and so on...

So I studied advertising (even wrote a book about it to help entrepreneurs, it came out quite good if I say so myself), anyway, advertising has to do with creativity, storytelling, photography, and art right?... wrong... it all has to do with sales.

So I said "If I want to become an artist, it's now or never" and here we are, it hasn't been easy but I'm living my dream!
