José Leon Martínez

I am a PhD candidate in experimental social psychology at Florida State University.

My studies are funded by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP; awarded 2020).

In my research, I combine social and evolutionary perspectives to understand how people make decisions to manage tradeoffs associated with everyday life, and the motivations underlying those decisions.

Please see the Research section for a list of my publications and other works.
