José Manuel Conde Alonso
I am a mathematician. I was born in Madrid, where I have lived most of my life. I am currently working as a Tamarkin Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics in Brown University. This academic year I am also a Junior Faculty Teaching Fellow at Brown University. Between October 2015 and March 2017 I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Geometric Analysis in the Euclidean Space group of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and before that I was a graduate student at ICMAT and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. I am now a proud member of the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion of the Department of Mathematics at Brown.
My research interests lie somewhere at the interface between Harmonic Analysis, Geometric Measure Theory and Operator Algebras, but I tend to like all kinds of problems (inside or outside the mathematical world). You can find an extended summary of my research here (updated in 2016). Else, if you want to contact me, send me an e-mail or, if you happen to be in Providence, you can directly visit me in my office.
My office number is 219 and it is in Kassar House (151 Thayer Street, Providence RI).
