I am a licensed teacher with experience teaching or tutoring all subjects through high school, including test prep.

I also have experience with teaching all instruments, especially piano, percussion, and woodwinds.

I provide lessons or tutoring in my home or virtually. Virtual lessons can take place with Skype, FaceTime, Hangouts, Duo, or the communication platform of your choice.

  • Longer lessons, tutoring, and homeschool curriculum: $36/hour, prorated for portion of hour used

  • Online lessons: $27/hour, prorated for portion of hour used ($8 per lesson for 15-minute lessons)

Lesson and Tutoring Expectations

For homeschool families, I am available during daytime hours, and can help plan and create curriculum or help with existing curriculum in German or math. I teach German online as well - if you're interested in taking the equivalent of a full high school German course, I have written one for Genesis Virtual Academy that I can also provide for you. If you're interested in more information, check out the scope and sequence/topic list.

This year I am teaching the following classes as well:

  • Mid-Metro Academy (Christian co-op in St. Paul): Lego Engineering (spring Monday), Personal Finance (full year Wednesday), Teamwork/Leadership (fall Wednesday), Worldviews (spring Wednesday)

  • Planet Homeschool (secular co-op online and in St. Anthony): Statistics & Social Justice (fall online Tuesday), The Class About Death (fall online Tuesday), Game Theory, Probability, and Decision-Making (Friday), Research Paper Writing (Friday), Art & Music as Agents of Change (spring online Tuesday), Freaky Folklore - Exploring Literature's Unusual Twists (spring online Tuesday and spring Friday), Backyard Ballistics, Optics, and the Science of Sound (spring Friday), Topsy Turvy Tales - Collaboration in Theater and Writing (spring Friday)

Not teaching, but also recommend - STAR Academy (meets Wednesdays in St. Louis Park, targeted towards gifted students) and Twin Cities Homeschool Band (meets Thursdays in Roseville).

I also love to travel and plan trips to Europe on a budget. Want travel tips or advice? I'd love to help you with that as well.
