Research

My research interests lie in geometric group theory, low dimensional topology, and geometric topology. I study the outer automorphism group of certain groups, and the mapping class group of certain smooth manifolds. I am interested in understanding the algebraic and geometric properties of these groups, their actions on various complexes (such as the curve complex and arc complex), and their connections to Teichmüller theory and hyperbolic geometry.
