Jorge Perilla-Garcia

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Pennsylvania State University. I am an applied microeconomist specializing in empirical political economy and public economics. My research uses modern empirical methods to study how individuals and firms behave in an increasingly polarized world. I also conduct research in economic history. 

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland in 2024. I hold M.A. degrees in Economics and Public Policy from Universidad de los Andes, and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. To contact me, please email me at jqp6226@psu.edu or jeperillag@gmail.com
