Millennium Development is a non-profit youth organization dedicated to empowering young people through creativity, mentorship, and media education. The After-School Media Arts Program gives public school students hands-on experience in digital storytelling, helping them explore their voices through film, audio, and visual arts.
As Creative Director, I lead this program with a focus on project-based learning in filmmaking, graphic design, and video editing using industry tools like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Audition.
Our current project is a student-produced short film, where I mentor youth through the entire production process—from scriptwriting and storyboarding to directing and editing. We have also created a fun, high-energy food commercial and launched a multimedia podcast that explores trending topics, all while teaching students the fundamentals of audio storytelling and editing.
On the visual arts side, I help students design original anime characters and develop their own manga series, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and strong narrative skills in every step of the process.
