I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Emerging Technology in Business and Design at Miami University in 2026, where I grew into a UI/UX focused, Product designer and researcher.
My work has broad research with case studies and mock products, from conducting usability tests on Steam's developer tools, to reimagining brand voice for The MET, and prototyping a physical accessibility solution for Miami University's esports lounge. What connects all of this is my commitment to understanding users needs and wants before designing for them.
I love understanding the process users go through to use products, and I believe the best designs don't only solve problems, they give people a good experience.
Hello, My name is Jordan Kathryn Williams!
I grew up in a small town called Wapakoneta, Ohio and spend my time working on personal projects, playing video games, or hiking in the woods. I learned how to balance competitive teamwork, since in high school I played Overwatch on a team that placed second in Ohio esports in 2021 and performed in symphonic, marching band, and also in drumline. These experiences taught me communication, discipline, and how to work with people of any skill level. Strategizing with communities naturally led me to help others in some sort of way.
Outside work I’m driven by a personal dream to travel across America and visit a national or state park in every state. despite having had three ACL related surgeries, I’m planning to manage my recovery so I can reach that goal while continuing to develop my knowledge in digital user research and creative arts in many different environments.
