소개
연혁
Eco-Metallurgy 연구실은 2005년 이준호 교수의 고려대 부임과 함께 설립되었습니다. 초기에는 Laboratory of Interface and Process Technology의 이름으로 계면과학 연구와 공정 연구를 두 축으로 연구가 진행되었습니다. 2007년 POSCO의 철강전문연구실로 지정되어, 국내에서 가장 오래된 POSCO 철강전문연구실로 그 명성을 자랑하고 있습니다. 2018년부터는 수도권 4개대학 (고려대, 서울대, 연세대, 한양대)이 함께 참여하는 '고부가금속 전문인력 양성사업 수도권거점센터'를 유치하여, 금속공학 분야의 전문 교육 및 연구기관으로 그 명성을 더하고 있습니다. 철강의 제선, 제강, 강재개발, 표면처리, 표준개발, 타산업 응용에 이르기까지 철강의 A to Z 전분야를 아우르는 연구분야를 갖고 있습니다. 철강 ICT를 시작으로, 스마트 팩토리 분야에서 교육과 연구에 두각을 나타내고 있으며, 배터리, 화학, 건설 분야에 스마트 팩토리 기술을 전파하는 역할을 수행하고 있습니다.
