I apply text analysis and machine learning to questions in macroeconomics and monetary policy at the Bank of Finland's Monetary Policy and Research Department. My research examines central bank communication and policy preferences, inflation expectations, geopolitical risk, and nowcasting.

I have published in academic journals and contributed policy-oriented work to VoxEU, SUERF, the ECB, and the Bank of Finland Bulletin.
