Jongyun Jung, Ph.D.
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin and the Korea Dinosaur Research Center at Chonnam National University. My research integrates ichnology and body fossil evidence to reconstruct the diversity, behavior, and ecological adaptations of Mesozoic vertebrates. I have studied vertebrate tracks, primarily pterosaurs, to investigate their ecology and behavior. My current work extends to fossil and modern avian tracks, aiming to understand their ecology and evolution. Additionally, I have conducted studies on diverse vertebrate body fossil remains from Korea, including dinosaurs, crocodiles, and turtles.
