Jongtae Lee received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Hannam University, Daejeon, South Korea, in 2023. He received the M.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence Convergence Network from Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, in 2025. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Artificial Intelligence Convergence Network at Ajou University. His current research interests include 3GPP standard-based 6G satellite communication systems and mobility issues in non-terrestrial networks.

On October 21, at ADEX 2025 held at KINTEX, a civilโmilitary seminar titled โStrategies for Securing a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite Communication Systemโ was organized as part of a policy research project commissioned by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including the Defense Counterintelligence Command, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Ministry of National Defense, DAPA, and the National Fire Agency, as well as private-sector participants such as KT SAT, Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Hanwha Systems, LIG Nex1, and Intellian Technologies.

Conducted from February 17โ28, 2025, in collaboration with Professor Hyuk Park and the UPC NanoSatLab at Universitat Politรจcnica de Catalunya (UPC), the workshop covered hands-on training on Pocket/CubeSat development including satellite architecture, subsystems, applications, integration, testing, and verification.ย
Demonstrated an AI-based LEO satellite simulator at MWC 2023, developed via an academia-industry project. Based on a Starlink-like constellation optimized for regional coverage, it featured an AI-enhanced model correcting SGP4 TLE errors, enabling real-time satellite position estimation at the UE side for improved autonomy and mobility management.ย
