Note: The 3D face recognition software was provided as a middleware of OpenNI. OPEN NI was an industry-led non-profit organization focused on improving interoperability of 3D sensor-based natural user interfaces. This 3D face modeling middleware was one of the popular software for many researchers. The Apple company later purchased the Primesense company who was founding member of OpenNI.
