Each section highlights my versatility and commitment to delivering impactful storytelling through the lens, across a spectrum of photographic disciplines.
As a Photography Assistant in Sogang University's Office of Public Affairs, I played an integral role in the university's visual communication and media relations. My diverse responsibilities encompassed photographing content for press releases, Sogang Gazette, campus gallery, and providing extensive photographic coverage of major events such as the annual Sogang University Festival (대동제). I was also responsible for detailed photo retouching to ensure high-quality visual output and meticulously compiled press clippings for media monitoring.
This project highlights the luxurious and eco-friendly qualities of Fabrika’s premium TENCEL™ Modal towel. The photoshoot focuses on emphasizing the towel's soft texture and fine details, using natural light and warm tones. Clean and organic compositions were chosen to align with the product’s eco-friendly and safe image.
Commissioned by Sogang University’s band Macbak, I served as the dedicated photographer for their live performance. This project focused on capturing the vibrant energy and emotional intensity of the concert, showcasing both the performers' passion and the audience's connection. Through a series of dynamic and expressive images, I aimed to preserve the essence of Macbak's music and stage presence.
Exhibited in Oasis展 (Frottage Gallery, Seoul)
During a month-long journey across Europe, I found myself captivated by the landscapes and the influence of Expressionist art, which reshaped my understanding of color, form, and composition. This journey inspired me to explore new editing techniques and develop a distinctive photographic style, blending traditional photography with painterly abstraction. By infusing landscapes with vivid emotions and dynamic textures, I sought to transcend the boundary between realism and artistic interpretation.
Through this series, I aim to invite viewers to see familiar landscapes through a transformed lens—one where mood, memory, and artistic imagination converge.
