As an educator, we utilize social media in various ways. Most of those ways include, but are not limited to, sharing ideas, building professional learning communities, receiving feedback, accessing resources, and building lasting connections.

Social media is also used within my classroom. We utilize YouTube to enhance student engagement. Instructional video lessons are recorded per skill and uploaded to our YouTube channel as well as google classroom, giving scholars access to the instruction of a skill even after the lesson has been taught.

Beyond YouTube, a Facebook page has been created for parents and other adults within out school community to showcase various instructional, achievement, and school involvement moments by Ms. Jones's scholars.
