We may update this policy periodically. The Last Updated date at the top of this document indicates the latest revision. It is your sole responsibility to review this policy frequently, and your continued use of the Website constitutes your agreement to the updated terms. Consent to Data Processing: By using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and potential marketing disclosures of information as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, you must immediately cease all use of the Website.
Jones Instruction is committed to user privacy and transparency. Our website is hosted on the Google Sites platform. We operate as a general audience website with:
NO Account Creation: We do not offer user accounts or registration services.
NO Cross-Site Tracking: We do not collect identifiers for the purpose of tracking individuals across other websites or for targeted advertising.
We outline two distinct types of data that our platform handles: Voluntary Submissions and Platform-Level Analytics.
A. Voluntary Submission Data (Personally Identifiable Information)
The only information that can personally identify you is data you actively and voluntarily submit to us via our upcoming feedback and/or contact forms, or by entering your email address to launch our official gated assessment utility.
The 3-Test Operational Structure: Jones Instruction hosts three distinct web-based utility tools:
Math Practice Assessment (Open-access; no email or user input required)
Math Fluency Practice Exam (Open-access; no email or user input required)
Math Fluency Exam (Gated; requires entering a valid email address to launch)
Data Types: Name, Email Address, Phone Number (optional), and message or feedback content. Please note: While entering a valid email address is required to launch the official Math Fluency Exam, Jones Instruction does not collect, track, or store your test scores, quiz performance, or individual attempt data for any of the three utilities.
Purpose: Contact and feedback form data is used solely to evaluate user input or respond to your specific inquiry. Email addresses submitted to unlock the official Math Fluency Exam are collected via standard integrated data pipelines for baseline user verification, and to maintain the flexible option of contacting users regarding future updates, educational resources, or promotional marketing insights related to our services.
Storage: Data submitted via forms, feedback inputs, and email verification fields is processed through Google Services (and/or Jotform) and stored securely within our professional workspace.
B. Platform-Level Analytics (Non-Personal/Anonymized)
Because this site is hosted by Google, certain non-identifying technical information is automatically monitored to maintain site security, stability, and performance. If we utilize dedicated analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or privacy-first alternatives) now or in the future, all data remains entirely anonymized.
Aggregated Statistics: We monitor daily/monthly visitor totals and page views.
Geographical Origin: Traffic is analyzed by country of origin only.
Technical Data: We view data regarding device types (Desktop vs. Mobile), browser types, and traffic sources (e.g., search engine vs. direct link).
Note on IP Addresses: While Google’s servers process IP addresses to deliver the website to you, Jones Instruction does not have access to, nor do we store, your specific IP address.
As a Google Sites website, "functional" cookies are utilized by Google to ensure the site displays correctly and remains secure.
Your Consent: By using this website, you acknowledge the use of these necessary functional cookies.
Control: You can manage, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Depending on your location (such as the EU or California), you may have the following rights regarding the personal information you have shared with us:
Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (typically the contents of your form or assessment email submissions).
Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request that we delete your personal data from our records. We will comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Where you have provided consent for us to communicate with you, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you (e.g., by denying services) for exercising any of your privacy rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights: To make a request, please contact us using the Contact Us Page on our website. We aim to respond to all valid requests within 30 days.
