Philosophy and Purpose

College admissions writing is the best type of writing -- its focused, its creative, its indulgent. Teasing out the best in students is a process I deeply enjoy and find great value in. In my two years of experience I have developed a diverse array of strategies designed to build rapport, brainstorm, draft, and refine. 

A wonderful privilege of college admissions writing is that the result is quite tangible -- students I have coached have received full rides to various schools including Princeton, Pomona, and Davidson; many others have received admission to the top schools across the country including the top UCs.
