Summer school on the math and physics of the Amplituhedron: With Mateo Parisi, I am working on a summer school with the goal of holding courses on relevant math background for physicists, and courses on relevant physics background for mathematicians. The goal is to hold the summer school in 2025. If you are particularly interested, please feel free to reach out! (jonathan.boretsky@mail.mcgill.ca)
Science Policy: In May 2024, I organized and led a science policy trip to DC with the Harvard Science Policy Group. This was an incredible opportunity to meet with professionals who work with science policy on Capitol Hill, at the State Department, at the National Academy of Sciences, and at the Pentagon, amongst many others. I look forward to continuing to explore my interest in policy.
Biking: I like long bike rides! In 2023, I biked from Boston to Montreal with the Boston Cyclist's Union. My favorite single day ride was from Boston to Portland, Maine. My next big cycling goal is to bike Axe 1 of the Route Verte, from (a little west of) Ottawa to Gaspé.
Rock climbing: As a mathematician, I am contractually obligated to mention that I like climbing, and especially like climbing with other people!
