The brick wall was chosen because of the unreachable widespread land of nature and freedom. The brick wall is a symbol of life's responsibilities but with a hole in the wall to show something that will hopefully be reachable. The photo of the landscape was hard to put into place as well as blend with the brick wall photo to make a compelling and realistic looking image.
Subject is setup in a tree to show how connected the subject is to nature. Skin blemishes were removed to heighten the beauty of the subject. Eyes and hair color were altered to change the appearance of the subject. Fingernails were overlooked and should have been fixed. The nail polish is chipped but the bright hair color grasps the viewers attention immediately so the fingernails are not the first thing that is seen.
Scene was photographed several times over in varying exposures to capture all the lights and the darks to be overlaid to make a HDRI image. The image's colors were brightened to have a more likable image for the viewer. The scene was chosen because of the photographer's love of the snow and the forest in the mountains.
Subject is the landscape just outside a rural town capturing a intersection surrounded by orchards. Several photos were taken to capture the area and then stitched together in Photoshop to bring it all together. Additionally minor edits of lights and darks were adjusted to help keep a balance across the images. I ran into a problem of carrying the same amount of brightness across all the photos. At the right hand side of the image the light is somewhat noticeably brighter than the rest of the image. Though I am happy with the stitching because I did catch a few things showing a phantom of a few of the things in the images that I was able to blend out.
The Sweetgums are the subject of the image. The colors in the image were increased through the use of Photoshop to ensure the image was not dull to the viewers eye. This walkway was chosen for its reoccurring patterns to give an aesthetic appeal.
The row of bushes is the intended subject that was later edited in Photoshop to help promote focus on the bushes. The background was further blurred to help create a separation between the subject and the background of the overall image. Something that I would change in this photo would be the start of the bushes because they are still blurred and would help to capture the overall focus of the subject.
