I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) and Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany.  

I am part of the research team of Prof. Ufuk Akcigit working on the project "The Economic Gap between East and West Germany" in the Department for Structural Change and Productivity. Furthermore, I am the Acting Coordinator of the Scientific Team of CompNet- The Competitiveness Research Network within the Center of Business and Productivity Dynamics (IWH-CBPD) headed by Prof. Javier Miranda.

My research centers on topics of innovation, firm productivity, economic growth, reallocation and economics of science.
